27/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission and the EU SST partnership officially launched the first Industry and Start-ups Forum on Space Traffic Management (STM) on Tuesday 26 April. Eurospace Secretary General Olivier Lemaître once again emphasised the need to move quickly, as other third countries (such as the United States) were imposing their own normative framework, forcing European industry to adapt. He believes that it is essential that Member States strengthen their cooperation over standardisation as soon as possible, with complementary action being taken at European level.
