European Commission proposes to amend 2022 budget to ensure support for people fleeing Ukraine

The European Commission adopted on Friday 22 April a draft amending budget for 2022 to increase this year’s EU budget appropriations to support people fleeing Ukraine. This represents an increase of 99.8 million euros in commitments and 176 million euros in payment appropriations.
