European Commission launches a call for contributions to develop guidelines for tackling poverty and inequality

06/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 4 April, the European Commission opened a call for contributions to develop guidelines to help Member States better tackle inequalities, in connection with the Action Plan on the European Pillar of Social Rights (see EUROPE 12716/3). Objective: to improve Member States’ use of ex-ante assessments of the distributional impact of national budgetary measures and reforms on household income. The call for evidence is open until 2 May.
