17/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – Online sales account for 60% of seizures of dangerous products destined for the EU, according to a report by the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) and the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) published on Wednesday 16 March. Of these products, cosmetics were the most frequently seized (46%), followed by clothing (18%), toys and games (17%) and car parts (8%). According to the same report, 75% of the dangerous products seized came from China (55%), Hong Kong (19%) and Turkey (9%). Germany had the highest number of seizures (47% of the total).
