16/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament and the Council of the EU will meet for a fifth time to discuss the Minimum Wage Directive on Tuesday 29 March. However, the agenda has not yet been set, we were told. At the last interinstitutional (trilogue) meeting in mid-February, the co-legislators again stumbled over the issue of the coverage rate of collective agreements for wages and the definition of the adequacy of statutory minimum wages (see EUROPE B12894A14).(PH)
