Sylvie Guillaume appointed rapporteur on reform of Schengen Borders Code

16/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – The S&D group has appointed France’s Sylvie Guillaume as rapporteur for the regulation reforming the Schengen Borders Code, a source from the group told EUROPE on Wednesday 16 March. The MEP succeeds Slovenia’s MEP Tanja Fajon (S&D), who was appointed rapporteur on the previous reform project, proposed in 2017, but which failed to reach agreement with the EU Council.
