Regions and cities adopt manifesto calling for a stronger role at European level

Regions and cities adopted a Manifesto by acclamation on Friday 4 March in Marseille at the end of the 9th Summit of Regions and Cities, in which they call for a stronger role for the European Committee of the Regions in the EU legislative process in limited policy areas and for the creation of a permanent mechanism for consulting citizens.
