11/01/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 11 January, the European Commission published nine additional fact sheets on the socio-economic impact of the pandemic on the outermost regions, in addition to the report published last November. Each fact sheet presents the health impact of the pandemic, the macroeconomic and sectoral impact, and the social impact. It also identifies the main measures taken to mitigate the consequences of the crisis, examines the outlook for the future, and presents proposals for recovery and resilience building measures to address the main challenges identified in each region.
