30/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – MEPs from the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) and the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) are expected to adopt their position on the draft directive on pay transparency (see EUROPE 12833/17) in February, possibly on 10 February. The vote will therefore not take place on 9 December, as originally planned and reported in our previous newsletter (see EUROPE 12842/1). Work on the text is still ongoing between the different groups and the two committees. This delay is also a result of logistical constraints. (AC)
