On Monday 29 November, the European Commission announced the launch of an interactive guide which it hopes will help those working in the cultural and creative sector to be better informed about the EU funding they are entitled to.
The guide, called CulturEU, is available online and lists a total of 75 funding opportunities from 21 different EU programmes, such as Creative Europe, Horizon Europe, InvestEU, Erasmus+, the Just Transition Fund and the Structural Funds.
CulturEU is accessible via a dedicated web page. Interested parties, of “all types and sizes”, are invited to select the options that apply to them in order to be quickly directed to the available funding relevant to them.
The Commission says the guide will be regularly updated and will also be available in all EU languages by early 2022. The institution recalled that the cultural and creative sectors are among those most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic (see EUROPE 12751/7).
