12th Ministerial Conference of organization could be held in March 2022

30/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – The World Trade Organization had to cancel its 12th Ministerial Conference (scheduled to take place from 30 November to 3 December) at the last minute due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The AFP reported that the MC12 could be postponed to March 2022. Two sources confirmed to EUROPE that the WTO has proposed such a postponement to participants, if epidemiological conditions allow. This is the second time that the pandemic has forced this conference to be postponed. The meeting was originally scheduled to take place in June 2020 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. (LM)
