European Commission opens investigation into import duties on nitrogen fertilisers

The European Commission has opened an investigation into the import duties applied to UAN (urea ammonium nitrate solution) fertilisers, a move that was immediately welcomed on Friday 19 November by the EU’s agricultural organisations and cooperatives (Copa-Cogeca).

Copa-Cogeca questions the usefulness of anti-dumping measures on nitrogen fertilisers in Europe.
