05/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – Under the Belgian Presidency of the Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg), the Belgian Minister for Climate and Environment, Zakia Khattabi, and the Secretary General of the Benelux countries, Alain de Muyser, launched a digital climate platform on Tuesday 2 November at the 26th session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow. According to the press release issued for the occasion, this tool aims to accelerate the “green transition” in the Benelux region and beyond by providing a virtual meeting place for different actors (scientists, companies, government services, youth representatives, etc.) to cooperate and easily exchange information on sustainability issues.
