On Friday 22 October, the EU Council adopted by written procedure a decision on the position to be taken, on behalf of the Union, in the annual consultations with the United Kingdom with a view to reaching an agreement on the total allowable catches (TACs) for 2022 (see EUROPE B12798A26).
Pursuant to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement, an agreement between the parties must be reached by 10 December.
