European Parliament calls for strengthening EU’s ‘farm to fork’ strategy for “healthy” and “sustainable” food system

The suspense over the outcome of the European Parliament’s vote on the ‘Farm to Fork’ strategy (F2F) was short-lived. MEPs voted by a large majority (452 in favour, 170 against and 76 abstentions) on Tuesday 19 October in favour of a “fair, healthy and environmentally friendly” food system with binding targets, according to the results of the vote published on Wednesday.
