European Parliament Conference of Presidents finally agrees on sharing out of ‘Fit for 55’ package

After several postponements of the decision, the presidents and representatives of the European Parliament's political groups agreed on Wednesday 20 October, alongside the plenary session, on the sharing out between parliamentary committees of the files from the package to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030 compared to 1990.
