22/09/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 22 September, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) decided to remove Bosnia and Herzegovina and Moldova from the list of third countries of which residents can enter the EU without restrictions, and at the same time added three countries: Rwanda, Chile and Kuwait. They had already amended this list on 9 September (see EUROPE 12786/4). These changes bring the number of countries, territories or administrative jurisdictions on the list to 17: Australia, Canada, Jordan, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Uruguay, Ukraine, Chile, Rwanda, Kuwait and China (subject to reciprocity), Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The decision will be formalised later by written procedure. (Original version in French by Solenn Paulic)
