15/09/2021 (Agence Europe) – Contrary to what we reported in our article ‘TEN-E revision, European Parliament negotiators leave without final agreement on compromise amendments’, published on 14 September, the different political groups in the Parliament had indeed reached an agreement in principle, at the end of their meeting, on the compromise amendments to the draft report by MEP Zdzisław Krasnodębski (ECR, Poland) on the revision of the Trans-European Energy Networks (TEN-E) Regulation (347/2013). However, they still had to fine-tune the drafting of some compromise amendments on the basis of the agreement. No further meetings between the negotiators have taken place since then. MEPs have until Wednesday evening to table amendments to the draft report. EUROPE will continue to follow this story. (DG)
