DGA, EU Council to give Member States more flexibility on access and re-use of data

The Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union presented, on Tuesday 7 September, a compromise text on European Data Governance (Data Governance Act or DGA) (see EUROPE B12763A15).

Several changes have been made in comparison with the last compromise proposal presented by the previous Portuguese Presidency of the EU Council last 22 June (see EUROPE B12753A9).

In particular, clarifications have been made to the definition of ‘Data Intermediation Services’.
