Appointment of two Advocates-General to Court of Justice and one judge to General Court of EU

08/09/2021 (Agence Europe) – The Member States’ ambassadors to the European Union made three appointments to the Court of Justice of the EU on Wednesday 8 September. Anthony Collins (Ireland) and Laila Medina (Latvia) have been appointed as Advocate-General starting 7 October for a mandate of three and six years respectively. Pēteris Zilgalvis (Latvia) has been appointed as judge at the General Court of the EU until the end of August 2025.
