26/08/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday, 24 August, the European Commission unveiled a ‘toolkit’ on programming actions to combat poverty and social exclusion of children under the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). This document is based on not only “peer-to-peer” training on the subject that took place in January of this year but also on-the-ground results and feedback regarding the implementation of the ESF during the 2014–2020 period. It is addressed, firstly, to managing authorities, intermediate bodies, ministries, and public bodies as well as to all relevant stakeholders and, lastly, to policy and desk officers in the European Commission.
