08/07/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission proposed, on Thursday 8 July, that the Council of the European Union adopt the Cypriot and Croatian recovery plans. The Cypriot plan will receive an envelope of €1.2 billion, of which €1 billion will be in the form of grants and €200 million in the form of loans. The Croatian plan will be endowed with €6.3 billion in grants only. On Tuesday 13 July, the Ecofin Council is expected to formally adopt a dozen recovery plans.
