12/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission approved on Wednesday 12 May the modification of three Operational Programmes (OP) under the REACT-EU initiative for Bulgaria and Sweden. Thus, Bulgaria should receive an additional of €75.9 million to deal with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, while Sweden is expected to receive €57.5 million. For the first time, an amendment to an OP concerns the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD), says the European Commission. Thus, an additional €19.9 million in 2021 should be made available to serve around 50,000 people in Bulgaria.
