04/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Investment Fund (EIF) and the Lithuanian Credit Union LKU Group (LCCU) have signed a cooperation agreement for a guarantee mechanism supported by the European Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) programme. The objective: to launch an 8 million euros microcredit programme for small businesses, according to a European Commission press release published on Tuesday 4 May. The credits granted under this agreement will be targeted at companies with a maximum of nine employees and annual revenues that do not surpass 2 million euros. The beneficiaries of the guarantee will be able to access at least 320 new transactions for a maximum loan amount of 25,000 euros. (PH)
