Public consultation on future European police cooperation code

19/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 19 April the European Commission launched a consultation on law enforcement cooperation in the EU and possible improvements. The results will feed into the Commission’s forthcoming proposal for an EU police cooperation code, which will aim to strengthen and modernise cooperation between EU police services by replacing the existing patchwork of various EU multilateral cooperation tools and agreements, the Commission explains in a statement.
