The European Commission announced on Monday 19 April that it has approved the modification of three European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) operational programmes under REACT-EU for Denmark, Luxembourg and the Netherlands for a total amount of €344.8 million.
Denmark will receive €54.7 million to support businesses and enhance skills development among workers in the context of the dual green and digital transition. Luxembourg will receive €69.7 million to help around 20,000 people employed in sectors particularly affected by the health crisis. Likewise, the Netherlands will receive €220.4 million to help the most vulnerable.
Recently, the institution gave the green light to modifications of operational programmes for Bulgaria, Finland, Lithuania, France, the Netherlands and Austria (see EUROPE 12700/19).
