29/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – BusinessEurope believes that the strategy on occupational health and safety (OHS) should be simplified to better take into account the constraints of companies, in response to a European Commission public consultation published on Thursday 25 March. For the European association, the situation has improved since 2014, but the quality of the data collected needs to be significantly improved. Furthermore, it considers that labour inspection services should help to disseminate information on the rights and duties of enterprises and workers, especially among migrant workers who are particularly at risk.
