EU Council indicates path to follow for a green and circular post-Covid-19 economic recovery

The Environment Ministers of the EU Member States are convinced that the Second Circular Economy Action Plan, a key element of the European Green Deal, must be used for a post-Covid-19 green and circular EU recovery.

The conclusions on this subject adopted by the Environment Council on Thursday 17 December provide comprehensive political guidance to advance the 35 actions planned by the Commission. (see EUROPE B12623A5, B12613A20).
