European Parliament set to approve similar position to that of EU Council on transport emergency measures after Brexit

The European Parliament will vote on Friday 18 December on the three pieces of legislation that will ensure that air safety is maintained, and that road and air traffic between the EU and the UK is not suddenly disrupted (see EUROPE B12620A6) should an agreement on the post-Brexit relationship not be reached before 1 January 2021.

MEPs will be first asked to vote on a series of amendments to the European Commission’s three proposals regarding regulations.
