21/09/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Monday 21 September the modification of two regional Operational Programmes (OPs) in Lombardy and Sicily to redirect €660 million under the Coronavirus Response Investment Initiative (CRII and CRII+). Of this amount, €193 million will go to the health sector in Lombardy and €10 million to working capital for SMEs in the region. For Sicily, €4.3 million will support the health sector, up to €320 million for SMEs, €75 million to support the tourism sector, and €60 million to improve schools and higher education institutions. In addition, the co-financing rate is increased to 100% for eligible actions. (PH)
