Medical aid has arrived in Somalia and two more EU air bridge flights will follow

06/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – Thanks to the humanitarian air bridge established by the EU as part of its response to the Covid-19 pandemic, a flight carrying medical supplies landed in Mogadishu (Somalia) on Sunday 5 July, the European Commission announced. The flight departed from Brindisi, Italy, with equipment provided by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Italian civil society organisations and international NGOs.
