European Commission announces launch of Just Transition Platform

The European Commission announced, on Friday 26 June, the launch of the Just Transition Platform (JTP) on Monday 29 June. Objective: to assist Member States in setting up their territorial Just Transition Plans in order to make the most of the Fund.

The platform will ensure that the planned funds (€40 billion in constant 2018 prices to potentially raise €150 billion) are well directed towards the right projects and regions. It will also support access to the European Union's investment...
