Council of EU is considering widening scope of Just Transition Fund

On Wednesday 10 June, the ambassadors to the EU held extensive discussions regarding the regulation establishing the Transition Fund, including the possibility of widening the scope of the regulation.

According to information we have received, the Baltic countries have submitted a proposal to make changes to the nature of Article 4 of the regulation, which defines the scope. This provision in the article is currently for a closed list.
