28/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Monday, 27 April, three transport organisations (CLECAT, EEA, and ESC) co-signed a joint statement in which they call for every effort to be made to ensure a successful transition from the restrictive measures related to Covid-19. To this end, they are calling for the closest possible coordination with all sectors concerned in lifting the measures implemented in the context of the pandemic and ensure continuity in the transport of goods. The signatories want to avoid a “patchwork” of operational restrictions across the EU at all costs. In this context, the three organisations are stressing the importance of increased regional cooperation, particularly with regard to the application of “Green Lanes”.
