Google obliged to negotiate “in good faith” with newspaper publishers, says French competition authority

09/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – Google has no right to impose its conditions on newspaper publishers. This is essentially what the French competition authority said on Thursday 9 April about the way the tech giant has interpreted the European directive on copyright.
