17/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – The new calls for proposals published under the Horizon 2020 Research Framework Programme, which was initially due to close on 15 April, will be extended. This measure, taken in the wake of the upheaval caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, was announced on Tuesday 17 March by the European Commissioner for Innovation and Youth, Mariya Gabriel, on her Twitter account. “No extensions will be applied to the IMI and EIC pilot calls”, she said. Regarding the calls in question, information on the extension of the closure date will be published online on the European Commission's Funding and tender opportunities portal. (AC)
