03/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – More than 60 European, national, regional, and local leaders signed on Friday 31 January a political declaration supported by Eurocities, ENOLL (a network of stakeholders engaged in innovation, notably in relation to smart cities) and OASC (a network seeking to create a global urban data market), in which they commit to contribute to a common but voluntary investment plan to stimulate the “sustainable” digital transformation in the EU by 2025. The initiative, entitled ‘Join, boost, sustain’, is a first step towards developing a European approach to digital transformation. In addition to investment, the initiative aims to ensure the interoperability of digital platforms.
