Green light from Member States to European Parliament/EU Council agreement on tyre labelling

22/11/2019 (Agence Europe) – Member States' ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) gave the green light on Friday 22 November to the agreement reached between the European Parliament and the EU Council on the revision of tyre labelling rules (1222/2009) (see EUROPE 12370/8). The ball is now in the European Parliament's court. The agreement has yet to be approved by the Parliamentary Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, initially (which should not be a problem), and subsequently by the MEPs meeting in plenary session.
