19/11/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has approved, on Tuesday 19 November, the proposed acquisition of ExxonMobil's oil and gas upstream business (EM, USA) in the Norwegian Ccontinental Shelf by ENI International BV (ENI BV, an Italian company), belonging to the ENI group and HitecVision Advisory AS ('HitecVision', a Norwegian company). ENI is a global oil and gas group, active in exploration, production, refining and selling operations, electricity and chemistry. HitecVision is a Norwegian provider of investments in enterprises in the North Sea region's energy sector, investing mainly in offshore upstream oil and gas companies, including oilfield services and the technology sector.
