Investigation into a €108 million aid project for a Samsung facility in Hungary

The European Commission decided on Monday 14 October to open an in-depth investigation to determine whether Hungary's plan to grant €108 million in public aid to Samsung SDI to invest in the development of its battery cell production facility in Göd, Hungary, is in line with EU regional state aid rules.
