Slovenian Nina Gregori, new director of the EASO

18/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 18 February, the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) announced the immediate appointment of Slovenian Nina Gregori in the role of Director to replace José Carreira, who was the target of an investigation into maladministration (see EUROPE 12036). Ms Gregori, who was Director General for Migration at the Slovenian Ministry of Interior, is expected in particular to put the finances of the European office in order, which had seen its competences...
