Green light from Council to Interinstitutional Agreement on harmonisation of GNI calculation methods

18/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 18 February, the Council of the European Union formally approved the Interinstitutional Agreement from the end of last year on the harmonisation of methods for calculating gross national income (GNI) in the European Union. The text provides precise indications as to the calculation of GNI. It also gives the European Commission the possibility to adopt delegated acts for the implementation of this Regulation.
