Seasonally adjusted GDP grew by 0.2% in the euro area and the European Union in the fourth quarter of 2018, while the number of persons employed increased by 0.3% in the euro area and by 0.2% in the European Union, according to a flash estimate from the European Union Statistical Office (Eurostat) on Thursday 14 February.
