European Parliament approves technical amendment to Energy Efficiency Directive due to Brexit

14/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 14 February, the European Parliament endorsed a proposal updating Directive 2012/27/EU on energy efficiency and Regulation 2018/1999 on the governance of the energy union, to take into account the future withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU (see EUROPE 12183).
