European Parliament Committee approves conclusion of EU/Morocco fisheries agreement

The European Parliament's Committee on Fisheries decided on Wednesday 23 January (17 votes in favour, 7 against and 2 abstentions) to approve the conclusion of the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the EU and Morocco (see EUROPE 12175, 12149). 

The Committee on Fisheries approved the first report by Alain Cadec (EPP, France) on the recommendation approving this protocol. It rejected amendments rejecting the conclusion of this fisheries agreement with Morocco, tabled by two...
