Every year in its report on breaches and violations of fundamental rights in the European Union, the European Parliament notes that the situation has deteriorated further. The one for 2017, adopted on Wednesday, 16 January in Strasbourg by 390 votes to 153 with 63 abstentions, will not have escaped the rule.
