MEPs give green light to Interinstitutional Agreement on competition in aviation

10/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 10 January, MEPs of the European Parliament's Transport Committee approved the interinstitutional agreement of 20 November between representatives of the European Parliament and the former Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU on the revision of Regulation 868/2004 on combating unfair competition from third-country airlines (see EUROPE 12142). The Parliament plenary session must also formally approve this agreement, as must the EU Council....
