S&D group in European Parliament assures Bucharest that it will put pressure on it to respect rule of law

10/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – Maria João Rodrigues (S&D, Portugal) assured that European Social Democrats were putting pressure on the Romanian government - a coalition of socialists and liberals - to respond to concerns about respect for the rule of law, expressed in particular by the European Parliament (see EUROPE 12136) and the Council of Europe.
