03/12/2018 (Agence Europe) – The value of EU agri-food exports fell by 6% in September 2018 compared to September 2017, according to the latest monthly trade report published by the European Commission on Monday 3 December. The latter points out that, despite this, the EU still maintains a trade surplus in agri-food products (monthly) of 2.2 billion euros. The value of imports also declined slightly, although imports from Brazil and the United States increased significantly compared to the previous month. (LC)
