Tribunal confirms freezing of Mubarak family's assets in 2016 and 2017

The EU Council did not commit a manifest error of assessment by extending in 2016 and 2017 the freezing of assets held in the European Union by the Mubarak family, the EU Court ruled in a judgment delivered on Thursday 22 November (cases T-274/16 and T-275/16).
